Monday, August 26th, 2024 is National Dog Day. Happy National Dog Day! It was created by animal advocate and pet lifestyle expert Colleen Paige in 2004 to celebrate all dogs, encourage adoption, and especially raise awareness about the number of dogs that need to be rescued each year.
What is Pet Dander?
Pet dander! Where does it come from? If you are a dog owner, you understand that on the one hand, our pets shed hair at least twice a year. Likewise, they also leave behind pet dander.
Pet dander consists of tiny, microscopic, flakes of skin shed by animals with fur or feathers. In addition, these skin particles can become airborne and are a common trigger for allergies.
